Gyokuro tea: 2 tablespoons (10 g / 0.35 oz)

Water: 80 ml (3 oz), cooled to 60°C (140°F)

Kyusu or small teapot

Teacup or mug


 Instructions:
  1. Measure the LeavesAdd 2 tbsp (10 g) of Gyokuro to your kyusu or teapot.

  2. Prepare the Water

    Boil water and cool it to 60°C (140°F).

    Tip: Transfer the hot water between cups 3 times to naturally lower the temperature.

  3. Brew Gently

    Pour the cooled water over the tea leaves.

    Let it steep for 90 seconds.

    Do not stir or agitate the leaves—allow a peaceful infusion.

  4. Serve

    Pour the tea slowly and gently into your teacup.

    Make sure to pour every last drop—this final portion holds much of the flavor.
